President Lukyanov urged his Gallian colleagues to show ‘restraint’ as the crisis in the Lierland worsened as the Gallian Defence Federation declared war on the rebel Solarian regime.
Putting the country on a state of national alert following a meeting with the Commander General, Yuri Schechan, Lukyanov said the country was ‘committed’ to promoting ‘stability’ and ‘harmony’ in Gallia. But the President’s words have come under attack from Foreign Minister, Ludvig Fedorov. The Foreign Minister said Polasciana had a ‘moral commitment’ in expressing its ”heartfelt sympathy’ with the people of Lorraine and Nicosia, and that he would ‘insist’ the nation allowed GDF forces access to Polascianan military establishments near the Long Sea.
