The country’s new Foreign Minister, Ludvig Fedorov, has extended an invitation to his Eiffelland counterpart, Rudolph Kögler. Mr Fedorov who replaced Dimochka Yakushkin at the Foreign Executive said he was ‘proud’ to have the opportunity to work on an international stage. From his former position as the Minister at the Department for Energy, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Fedorov’s promotion is seen as a stepping stone by Prime Minister Gruaman to re-start his programme for government. The new Foreign Minister said he was ‘eager to start’ working on overcoming the recent internal problems for government, but also to formulate a ‘plan for action’ with Eiffelland authorities following recent terrorist scares within the neighbour’s borders.
