Manufacturer Bosses Under Pressure For Crash

The bosses of one of the countries largest manufacturers has come under fire as rail operators have shunned responsibility for Wednesday evening’s rail disaster that struck the nations attention. Authorities are continuing to piece together the unfolding events that would prove catastrophic. The crash, which took place on the outskirts of the city of Dubrovka, has so far taken the lives of 50 people – but many more remain missing, or critically ill. Boris Svikorivo, the Chief Executive of Burov who manufactured the derailing unit tonight is reported to be leading a full internal investigation and has grounded all in-service power units causing disruption to millions. But State Minister for transport, Kristina Rudakov, hit back in a statement saying “There remains a perception that our rail network is unsafe, but statistics prove it remains an incredibly safe way to travel.”
