Tattar To Take Aim At Ulanov In Weekend Interview

In the latest twist to the ongoing dispute between the leadership in the Union Party, Federal Council leader Ivan Tattar is expected to criticise his party’s leader, Lazar Ulanov, in a live public interview this weekend.

The crisis at the top of the party was sparked by the two men’s disagreement over whether to lend support in the lower house to acting Polasciana Centrists leader, Ludvig Fedorov – and allow him to form a government.

Ulanov has been a vocal opponent of supporting any such Centrist-led government, sparking fury with Tattar, who said on Thursday, ‘The work of government must go on, whether we are in control or not.’ President Lukyanov once again issued an ultimatum to the Union Party, threatening to install a Prime Minister to ‘get on with the job’.
