The country’s top military general, Yuri Schechan is to return to work as the highest reporting general of the Polascianan Armed Forces next week. General Schechan who has spent four months recovering from a heart-attack has said he is ‘eager’ to get back to the commanding table. The General, a close ally of President Lukyanov, is set to join talks with neighbouring Eiffelland following a string of security breaches in the country. He has also suggested that he has been following developments with a number of Polasciana’s close neighbours including Carentania and Uttania. He reittarated that he was ‘as focused as ever’ in protecting the country and he would address the Federal Assembly on Monday. The 64 year olds medical support described his recovery as ‘strong’. President Lukyanov commented that ‘the whole nation’ would ‘welcome’ the General’s return.
